Abstract
- The article reports on a decision given by the officials of New York City regarding the closing of public schools in the city after the shooting of 18-year-old student Tylik Pugh in Asbury Park High School, Asbury Park, New Jersey. The decision came when investigations were going on to determine the motives behind the shooting. It has been asserted that the shooting of the student is associated with the deterioration of the neighborhood.
