Abstract: The article discusses the results of a study that investigated longitudinal anthropometric changes in HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected men. There was a slow increase in the change of waist/hip ratio in HIV-infected men receiving highly active antiretroviral therapy versus HIV-seronegative men. There was no differences in the arm circumference of HIV-infected versus seronegative group.
