Abstract: The article discusses computer company Dell Inc. The company is no longer number one in the personal computer market due to dropping profits. Dell has struggled to increase its market share and they announced in July 2006 that it plans on facilitating its pricing structure by reducing the number of promotions. Even though they company's overall earnings have increased, Dell remains weaker than its competitors, mostly because of its outdated direct-sale model to customers.
