Abstract
- The article presents information related to the 2006 CLEO/QELS conference which was held in Long Beach, California on May 22-26, 2006. The conference offered a well-balanced mix of the state of the art in lasers and optoelectronics and their real-world applications. There were more than 200 technical sessions in which 2180 papers were presented. The conference featured several experts from the field including David Zimdars, manager of terahertz R&D at Picometrix.
