Global View of C&D.

The article focuses on the methods of disposing and recycling construction and demolition debris (C&D) adopted by several countries. In São Paulo, Brazil, the city uses a deserted pit to dispose C&D waste and pays local contractor $5 per ton for disposal. In North America, C&D recycling has been applied to generate artificial aggregates and several countries in Europe are targeting to recycle 90% of their C&D waste. According to a study, aggregate from C&D material can be guaranteed for quality.
