Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S.-government sponsored network Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network facilitates clinical research into macular edema, diabetic retinopathy and their associated retinal conditions. The Network is a collaborative effort sponsored by the National Eye Institute of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The Network was formed in 2002 and currently includes more than 500 physicians and 150 sites.
