Abstract
- The article looks at Hugh MacLeod's role in marketing the South African wine Stormhoek. MacLeod offered free wine to 85 bloggers, some of whom spread the word. As a followup to a U.S. launch, he gave fee wine to 100 dinner parties over 100 days. According to MacLeod, there's more to blog marketing that sales because blogs help marketers see consumers as people.
