Abstract
- The article examines the role of visual arts in Great Britain during the Victorian and Modernist period. The author explained that many British historians find it difficult to give a distinction and power interpretation between the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries art. On the other hand, historian W. C. Wees has written one earliest account of radical art before 1914.
