Abstract
- The article discusses the author's experiences while traveling in Iceland. He comments on Iceland's geographic location and the abundance of hot geothermal pools, due to the country's volcanic activity. The thermal baths were modern and looked like community centers. The pools contained little chlorine and visitors are expected to shower before entering the pools. The author also recalls gazing at the northern lights during his trip. INSET: THE TRAVEL ADVISORY.
