Needs for Transplant Organs Is Acute Among Blacks.

The article highlights the growing need of transplant organs among African Americans in the U.S. Robert Kevin Waters, father of a three year old boy who needed transplantation of his diseased colon, addressing a gathering at a National Donor Sabbath, stressed the need for people to become organ donors. A study conducted by Links Inc. and Roche Holding AG found that half of the African Americans would want to donate their organs upon their death.
