Abstract

The article features the oil painting "Two women," by Willem de Kooning, which is part of the collection in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The artist used various colors such as yellow, red and green in this painting on paper of two nearly nude females. According to the article, de Kooning made the painting in an enclosed porch at a rented house in East Hampton, New York.
