Abstract

The article reports that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the U.S. has admitted the existence of two classified documents, including a directive signed by U.S. President George W. Bush, which have guided the agency's interrogation and detention of terror suspects. In a letter sent from John McPherson, associate general counsel of the agency, the CIA referred to the documents.
