ABNORMAL ANTIOXIDANT DEFENSE SYSTEM IN PATIENTS WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA.

The article presents an abstract of the medical research paper "Abnormal Antioxidant Defense System in Patients With Schizophrenia," which will be presented in the 30th meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The research demonstrates that both total antioxidant status and individual antioxidants are significantly reduced in plasma of schizophrenic patients.
