Abstract

The article presents an abstract of the medical research paper "Strong Correlation Between Polyglutamine Repeat Size in the Huntington Disease (HD) Gene and the Disease Phenotype," which will be presented in the 30th meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry, to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The research states that the mutation underlying HD is an expansion of a polymorphic CAG trinucleotide repeat, translated into polyglutamine tract in affected patients.
