Abstract

The article presents an abstract of the paper "Detection of 4-Hydroxy-2-Nonenal (HNE) in Cerebral Microvessels of C57BL/6J Mice As a Function of Age," which will be presented at the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from March 14-17, 1999. The paper suggests that the peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids can reduce levels of these fatty acids in the cerebral microvessels of aged mice.
