Abstract: The article presents an abstract of the research paper "Function Of Na+-K+-2CL- Cotransporter in Astrocytes." The role played by Na+-K+-2CL- Cotransporter in astrocytes is important as it helps in the regulation of ion homeostasis in the central nervous system. It is found that differentiated astrocytes changed from a polygonal to process-bearing morphology, showing alike a characteristic of matured and reactive astrocytes in situ.
