Abstract
- The article reports on the search of Durham, Edinburgh and Manchester universities in England for 39 masters and doctoral studentships to study the Arab countries. The objective of the universities is to create a research group that will play a key role in the relations of Great Britain with Arab countries. The institutions plan to establish a National Centre for the Advanced Study of the Arab World. The courses will be based on the existing expertise of students.
