The Reason for Asian Overconfidence.

The article discusses the study which investigates on the reasons behind the custom of overconfidence among Asians. The researchers anticipated that overconfidence would be less marked in persons educated in Singapore than those in China. It is provided that the education system in Singapore is more highly westernized in terms of medium of instruction used than in China. It was found that Chinese students exhibited higher degrees of overconfidence than Singaporean students.
