Abstract
- The article comments on the study concerning sex determination using the sex chromosome mechanism in amniotes. First, the authors discussed the diversified sex-determination (SD) mechanisms, including temperature-dependent SD and genetic SD. It was followed by a discussion of the results and findings of the study which stated that genes present on snake sex chromosomes mapped to autosomes in both mammals and birds.
