Registration of 'EverGlade' Kentucky Bluegrass.

The article provides an overview of the registration of EverGlade Kentucky bluegrass, a turf-type variety released in August 2004 by Jacklin Seed by Simplot in Post Falls, Idaho. The variety was derived from the offspring of hybrid cross 92-4230, which was created in the field in June 1992 using Jacklin breeding line 92-0076 as the maternal parent and Midnight as the pollen source. Details on yield and agronomic traits, breeding conditions and method, maintenance, and growth habits are presented.
