MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY JOINS CHICAGO CLIMATE EXCHANGE.

The article reports on the participation of the Michigan State University in the Chicago Climate Exchange Inc. The exchange is the only emission registry in North America. Imbalances such as too much carbon gas released into the air constitutes to global warming. Members of the Chicago Climate Exchange seek to reduce direct emissions by conserving energy and to provide opportunities to offset emissions such as no-till farming, tree farming or other carbon credits. The Michigan State University will work to achieve the prescribed six percent reduction goal.
