Abstract

The article reports on the use of the Library ABC's Game to teach elementary age students library terms and definitions. The game should be introduced at the beginning of the school year to familiarize students with library terms. Students learn the terms through the use of a cadence. The game involves elementary students in learning on many different levels. It presents relevant library information and terms in a manner that addresses students' different cognitive learning styles. The game is one tool that addresses students' different learning modalities on several cognitive levels.
