Abstract
- The article reports that the death of Augusto Pinochet, former dictator of Chile, has left many legal and political questions unresolved. Victims of human rights abuses of the dictator expressed frustration that he had died without standing trial. Questions were also raised regarding what would happen to the numerous criminal cases that were opened against him and his subordinates.
