Abstract

The article offers information on research papers on students' representations of the assessment process in drawings and stories presented at a conference on alternative approach to educational research of the Middlesex University in London, England in December 2006. The paper by Chris McKilop of Gray's School of Art at Robert Gordon University in Scotland had a negative reaction to assessment which could impede learning. Another paper states that poetry and metaphor can forge identities of students as creative researchers.
