The article reports that U.S. Senate Rules ranking member Robert Bennett's amendment which targets grassroots lobbying disclosure provision, has raised a controversy that may even lead to strike the provision from the Senate lobbying bill. Senator Joseph Lieberman who sponsored the disclosure requirement in the lobbying bill last year, however, disagreed with Bennett and said that disclosure requirement is part of the base bill and should remain.
