Abstract
- The article describes two bookstores that opened on the same day in 1972 in neighboring towns in New York are still open and thriving in spite of competition from Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon.com, the Internet, Wal-Mart, and iPods. One of the stores is located in Chappaqua, the home of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
