Abstract
- The article presents information on the announcement made by Stuart Rabner, Attorney General of New Jersey that the involvement of clerics to unite the same-sex couples in civil unions is not required. As stated in a letter written to the State Registrar, Joseph A. Komosinsky, the clergy members are free to decline from performing the ceremonies for the heterosexual couples if they think its violating their religious beliefs.
