Abstract

The article focuses on the prevalence of sexual relationship between doctors and their patients. The forms of sexual contact between doctors and patients are sexual relationship with emotional involvement, impulsive sexual gratification and indecent assaults. Doctors at risk are the ones who practice alone, middle-aged and unhappy with his non-professional relationships. Patients who may spread false allegations of sexual relationship with doctors are those with mental illness and sexually uninhibited with hypomania.
