Collaborative Action Research on Critical Thinking in the Library.

The author, who is a teacher-librarian in Federal Way, Washington, shares some of the lessons she learned from her collaborative action research on critical thinking in the library, which is a part of her Elementary Reading and Literacy master's degree work. She learned that the use of some types of primary sources does motivate students to think more analytically and that the more frequent use of journals designed for analytical thinking did increase critical thinking skills.
