Americans on War: Mixed Messages.

The article focuses on the mixed views of the U.S. public on Iraq war. Legislators and voters are faced with difficulty of opposing the war and expressing their support for the soldiers. Based on a survey conducted by the television program "ABC News" and the newspaper "Washington Post," only one in four citizens supports the addition of troops in Iraq. In a poll conducted by Pew in January 2007, 48% want soldiers to leave Iraq while 46% support their stay.
