Abstract

The article reports on a 2007 disclosure from several U.S. companies including Affiliated Computers, Brocade and KLA-Tencor, that illegal backdating of stock options had been performed at the companies weeks after a stock decline in the United States which was the result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
