Abstract
- The article presents interviews with Biblical archaeological scholars Bart Ehrman, James F. Strange, Lawrence H. Schiffman, and William G. Dever. Questions revolve around the controversial effect of high level academic scholarship on personal faith. Each scholar gives a description of their faith and how their work interacts with that conception. Other issues center around the interpretation of archaeological discoveries and the historical claims and traditions of Jesus.
