In the structure of the title compound, 1-(4-cyano­benzyl)-4-methyl­pyridinium 7,7,8,8-tetra­cyano­quinodimethanide, C14H13N2+·[C8H4(CN)4]−, the asymmetric unit contains one cation and one anion. Intra- and inter­molecular C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking inter­actions seem to be effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
