This article analyzes how the newspapers use the language to express the politeness in relation to the readers and with the protagonists of the information. One is how the ambiguity of the informative headings is looked for as it forms implicit of opinion, in texts that only allow the transmission of facts. On the other hand, the journalist chooses verbal forms that offer a discourteous image of the agent, putting in front the image of hierarchy to the one of the courtesy. Special relevance in the public image of the protagonists has the subjective use of the nouns and adjectives. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
