Abstract
- The article reports that thousands of American troops searched three mostly Shiite neighborhoods, namely Shaab, Bayda and Ur in Northeastern Baghdad, Iraq in February 14, 2007. According to American commanders, it is the first major sweep of the new security plan of the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush for Baghdad, Iraq. In a two-story warehouse in Ur, the American troops discovered three empty, rusted missile launchers.
