Abstract
- The article discusses a cancer treatment that the Canadian federal government may fund. The vaccine, known as Gardasil, fights cervical cancer and genital warts caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). The disease impacts women much differently than men. The cost is high-$300 million total. Pharmaceutical company Merck manufactures the vaccine.
