Abstract

The article reports on the 15 British sailors' and marines' experience when captured by Iranian Revolutionary Guards. They were accused of being in Iranian waters and initially told that they were being taken to the British Embassy. They actually were taken to a detention center where they were blindfolded, handcuffed and psychologically pressured. The sailors and marines were held for 14 days before being released.
