Abstract

The article reports on the findings of the study regarding cardiovascular disease risk conducted by Tobias Kurth, assistant professor of medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts. According to the research, men with migraine have a greater risk for acquiring cardiovascular disease (CVD) due to a higher chance of heart attack. Kurth warned that individuals with migraines should be aware of proven risk factors including high blood pressure and obesity.
