Abstract
- The article focuses on the benefits of using WiMAX technology for the CTC Telcom subsidiary of Chibardun Telephone Cooperative Inc. in Wisconsin. According to company chief executive officer (CEO) Rick Vergin, the WiMAX technology from SOMA Networks Inc. is better than the wireless broadband system that they were previously offering. Vergin added that the WiMAX solution had the capacity for Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) without a tremendous bandwidth cost.
