EU contributions to environment and health policy.

The article lists the contributions of the European Union to environment and health policy. These include its chemicals and environment policies, focus of the Competitive and Sustainable Development Programme on clean production and the avoidance of health hazards that resulted from industrial processes, and participation in the implementation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) protocol on persistent organic pollutants (POP).
