Abstract

Chapter 4 of the book "Helminth Control in School-Age Children" is presented. The authors note that the effective monitoring process of a helminth control program should involve documentation of its impact, informs current practice and guides future applications. They suggest that at least 5% of the program budget should be allocated in monitoring. Indicators that need to be considered in monitoring such program are the process, parasitological and morbidity.
