Abstract
- The article reports on the creation by President Nursultan Nazarbayev of a new government in Kazakhstan in January 2007. The new government, which will replace the cabinet of the dismissed Danial Akhmetov, will enable Nazarbayev to make personnel moves that will pave the way for major domestic and political policy changes.
