Abstract
- The article explains the association of the recurrent artery of Heubner to the contralateral middle cerebral artery infarction in an 86-year-old Chinese woman suffering from subfalcine herniation. According to the researchers, the patient's subfalcine herniation has caused compression of the right anterior cerebral artery (ACA), which affected the left recurrent artery of Heubner. It is noted that the recurrent artery of Heubner is an inconsistent branch of ACA.
