- The article reports on a public statement from Fred Anderson, the former chief financial officer of Apple Inc. In the statement Anderson alleged that the company's CEO Steve Jobs misled him about board actions on stock options awards. The impact the statement could have on the company, and on Steve Jobs' involvement in an options backdating investigation being conducted by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, is discussed.
