The article presents the case study of a 74-year-old woman who was presented with rapidly progressing renal failure after an upper respiratory tract infection. The patient had a subendocardial infarct and congestive heart failure 14 months before admission. The autopsy findings confirmed the diagnostic validity of the positive test for anti-myeloperoxidase antibodies. Pathologically, the disease was identified as microscopic polyarteritis.
