Abstract
- The author discusses patients with ventricular preexcitation syndrome. Preexcitation syndromes have intrigued physicians partly because of the bizarre electrocardiographic abnormalities associated with these syndromes. Continued fascination with the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome rests on two findings: the atrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia and the occurrence of sudden death from ventricular fibrillation in young, previously asymptomatic persons.
