Abstract

The article presents a study that investigates the performance field-effect transistors (FET) after solution casting of benzothiadiazole and cyclopentadithiophene copolymer. The authors have presented a benzothiadiazole and cyclopentadithiophene alternating copolymers which exhibited ability to self-assemble into a lamellar superstructure. They also noted that the study provided functionally desirable FET performance characteristics with mobilities up to 0.17 cm. when solution was deposited.
