- The article looks at grindhouse cinema. According to the article, U.S.-style grindhouse could never have taken root in repressive 1960s Great Britain. The article discusses several motion pictures, including "Truck Stop Women," Herschell Gordon Lewis' "Blood Feast" and "Two Thousand Maniacs," and Michael Powell's "Peeping Tom."
