The Sensuous Dimension of Literary Experience: An Alternative to Materialist Theory.

In this article, the author describes what he feels are emerging differences in literary research and criticism from those of his time. He describes his confusion as to how new scholars can study literature while resisting the ways literary criticism has become a substitute for dimensions of religious education.
