- The article presents information on the rising trend of mergers and acquisitions of business enterprises in Europe. The concept of closing takeover deals is rising due to an influx of private equity money, more active shareholders and low interest rates in the European market. The ongoing trend based on total value of mergers and acquisitions in Europe has outpaced the U.S.
